As a Human Resources Specialist, you will be responsible for various HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and other key areas that contribute to the overall success of our organisation.
Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, conducting interviews, and facilitating the selection process.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
2. Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, providing guidance and resolution to maintain a positive work environment.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
3. Onboarding and Orientation:
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they have the necessary resources, information, and training.
- Conduct orientation sessions to introduce new hires to company policies, culture, and expectations.
4. Performance Management:
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans.
- Provide coaching and support to managers on performance-related matters.
5. Benefits Administration:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Communicate benefits information to employees and assist with any inquiries.
6. Policy Development and Compliance:
- Develop, update, and communicate HR policies in compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Ensure company-wide compliance with HR policies and procedures.
7. Employee Engagement:
- Plan and organise employee engagement initiatives, such as team-building activities, events, and recognition programs.
- Monitor and analyse employee feedback to identify areas for improvement in the workplace.
8. Training and Development:
- Coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Identify and address training needs based on individual and organisational requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in human resources roles, with a strong understanding of HR best practices.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) is a plus.
