Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and customer-focused Café Manager to oversee the daily operations of our café. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food and beverage service, have excellent leadership skills, and be dedicated to delivering a high-quality customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily café operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Hire, train, schedule, and manage café staff.
Maintain high standards for food and beverage quality, presentation, and customer service.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Manage cash handling, sales reporting, and banking procedures.
Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Monitor and manage operating costs to ensure profitability.
Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a café or restaurant manager (2+ years preferred).
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including barista skills (preferred).
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Proficient in POS systems and basic business software (Excel, email, etc.).
High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or business training is a plus.
