Axis Bank - Branch Executive Job Role

Designation: Branch Executive / Branch Banking Executive

Department: Branch Banking

Employment: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

Handle customers visiting the branch and resolve their banking queries.

Assist with account opening, KYC, account maintenance and service requests.

Help customers with cheque books, debit cards, internet/mobile banking and other banking services.

Explain and cross-sell banking products such as Savings/Current Accounts, FD/RD, Credit Cards, Loans and Insurance/third-party products, depending on the assigned role.

Generate leads and acquire new customers through referrals and customer visits.

Maintain customer relationships and support branch business growth.

Process customer transactions/service requests within the prescribed turnaround time.

Maintain proper documentation and follow banking, KYC, compliance and risk-management guidelines.

Coordinate with other branch teams and maintain daily reports. Similar Axis branch-banking roles specifically include customer service, new-customer acquisition, cross-selling and transaction/service-request processing.
