Role Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced SR. Sales Manager to lead our Solar Sales operations in the . The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding our solar business footprint, developing key customer relationships, managing channel partners, and driving revenue growth in North India.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement regional sales strategies for solar products and solutions.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across residential, commercial, and industrial segments.
Manage and mentor a team of area sales executives and channel partners.
Build and maintain strong relationships with EPC companies, consultants, installers, and key stakeholders.
Prepare and present proposals, conduct site visits, and negotiate contracts.
Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
Ensure sales targets and profit margins are consistently met or exceeded.
Coordinate with internal teams (technical, operations, logistics) to ensure smooth project execution.
Prepare regular reports and forecasts for senior management.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA or specialization in renewable energy is a plus).
712 years of experience in B2B/B2C solar sales, preferably with rooftop or utility-scale projects.
Strong understanding of solar products (PV modules, inverters, batteries, etc.).
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large accounts.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and data reporting.
Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
