**job opportunity: area sales manager (b2b, fmcg)**

we are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented area sales manager for a b2b role within the fmcg industry. the ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of sales experience and a strong understanding of b2b sales dynamics and the fmcg market. the area sales manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing relationships with key business clients, and overseeing day-to-day sales operations within the assigned territory.

**key responsibilities:**

- develop and execute the sales strategy for the assigned area to achieve sales targets and business objectives.

- build, maintain, and expand relationships with key business clients, including distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.

- identify new business opportunities and potential clients to ensure consistent growth in the b2b segment.

- conduct regular market visits to assess client needs, gather feedback, and monitor competitor activities.

- lead product knowledge and training sessions to ensure clients understand the features, benefits, and positioning of fmcg products.

- collaborate with the marketing team to align promotional materials and strategies with business goals.

- track sales performance, analyze trends, and prepare reports to ensure sales goals are met and exceeded.

- provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market insights to senior management.

- resolve customer concerns or issues professionally and promptly.

- monitor stock levels and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure product availability and timely delivery.

- lead and motivate a small team of sales representatives (if applicable) to achieve sales targets and ensure efficient sales operations.

**qualifications:**

- 2 to 4 years of experience in b2b sales within the fmcg industry.

- strong understanding of the fmcg market and its key players.

- proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong business relationships.
