The Shift Incharge will be responsible for overseeing the operations of a shift in a chemical production facility in Sachin Surat. This role requires a Diploma in a relevant field and up to 6 years of experience in chemical production. The key responsibilities include supervising production activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, managing shift schedules, and coordinating with other departments to meet production targets. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, a good understanding of chemical production processes, and the ability to work well under pressure. The Shift Incharge must be a male candidate and willing to work full-time from the office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all production activities during their assigned shift, ensuring efficient operation, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong leader with proven experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, specifically in API and intermediate production.Key Responsibilities:Shift Management: Lead and supervise a team of production operators and technicians during the assigned shift. Plan and organize daily production activities to meet targets and schedules. Allocate tasks and responsibilities to team members effectively. Monitor production processes and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Ensure smooth shift transitions and effective communication with incoming/outgoing shifts.Production Operations: Oversee the manufacturing of APIs and intermediates, ensuring processes are followed according to batch production records and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Monitor raw material consumption, in-process parameters, and finished product quality. Optimize production efficiency and minimize waste. Coordinate with other departments such as Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Stores to ensure seamless operations.Quality and Compliance (GMP): Ensure strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant regulatory guidelines. Oversee the accurate and timely completion of all production documentation, including batch records, logbooks, and deviation reports. Identify and report any deviations, non-conformances, or quality incidents, and participate in investigations. Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) as required. Ensure equipment and facility are maintained in a state of readiness and compliance.Safety and Environment: Promote and enforce a strong safety culture within the production area. Ensure all team members follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.Team Development: Provide training and guidance to production operators and technicians. Foster a positive and productive working environment. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports. Communicate production status, challenges, and achievements to management.Skills and Qualifications: Proven leadership and supervisory skills in a manufacturing environment. In-depth knowledge of API and intermediate manufacturing processes. Strong understanding and practical application of GMP, GLP, and other relevant pharmaceutical regulations. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proficiency in using relevant computer software for data entry and reporting. Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.

Allocating contract manpower in such a way that they would generate productivity of more than 50 MT/ group Ensure loading & stabilization of material as per SOP Reporting of breakages,cullet& not found material during the shift. Ensuring loading of correct material in truck as per Loading slip. Avoiding loose box generation in warehouse by closely monitoring the loading point & warehouse to reduce breakages Collecting & checking barcode tags of each box loaded in truck & handover to barcoder for scanning & ensuring scanning of truck intime. Filling up of all ISO related documents like log book, forklift checksheet, availability sheet in each shift

Responsible for operation of all electrical & Utilities equipment & also for attending breakdown jobs in the plant and upkeeping the electrical system ensuring continuous power supply for production.***HT Power system ( 132 KV switchyard), DG sets, PLC system, Variables Frequency Drives, electrical maintenance (Motors, HT, LT panels, breakers, EOT Cranes), UPS system, ISO;TQM and other safety standards, Basic computer knowledge.# DG power resumption time during MSEB failure.
