Coordinate with PESO for applicable petroleum/explosive/hazardous materialpermissions. Coordinate required Poison/Poison Licence/permission for applicable chemicals. Handle Oro/other local statutory permissions applicable to the project. Coordinate with Labour Department, Factory Inspectorate, Electrical Inspectorate, Pollution Control Board, Fire Department, EPFO/PF, ESIC, GST and othergovernment authorities whenever required. Coordinate government inspections, approvals, renewals, NOCs and statutorydocumentation. Manage EHS requirements for all employees and contract workers at site duringconstruction commissioning and normal operation. Ensure contractor safety, PPE, work permits, toolbox talks, HIRA/JSA and site safetyinspections. Coordinate with all contractors working at site during the construction, commissioning and normal operation of the plants to ensure safe work practices. Coordinate medical/health check-ups and occupational health requirements foremployees and workers. Maintain all EHS records, registers, licenses, permits, NOCs and compliance reports. Conduct emergency drills, fire safety checks and incident/accident investigations. Work closely with all departments of the organization to ensure smooth and safeproject execution. Regularly visit the project site/factory to inspect EHS conditions, monitor safetycompliance, coordinate with contractors and workers, and ensure all statutory andsafety requirements are properly followed. Be available for site inspections, government authority visits, audits, emergencysituations and project-related meetings as required. Ensure all required statutory and EHS permissions are completed beforecommencement of construction/plant operations. Education & Qualification Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Safety Engineering, Industrial Safety, EnvironmentalScience, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Diploma in Industrial Safety (DIS/ADIS) from a recognized institute preferred. NEBOSH / IOSH / equivalent EHS certification will be an added advantage. Minimum 5 years of relevant EHS/Safety experience, preferably in a chemical plant, manufacturing, construction or process industry. Good knowledge of EHS, environmental regulations, statutory compliance andgovernment approvals.
