Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Control (QC): Testing raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods to ensure they meet specifications using analytical instruments.Laboratory Testing: Performing chemical assays, titration, pH measurement, viscosity testing, and chromatography (HPLC/GC) as required.Process Monitoring: Tracking chemical reactions on the production floor to ensure temperatures, pressures, and concentrations are maintained.Documentation: Maintaining the Laboratory Notebook and ensuring all test results are recorded accurately in the companys LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System).Compliance & Safety: Handling hazardous chemicals safely, maintaining a clean lab environment, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.Calibration: Regularly calibrating lab instruments (balances, spectrophotometers, etc.) to ensure accurate readings.

- Assign appropriate codes to medical diagnoses and procedures: As a medical coder, you will be responsible for reviewing patient medical records and assigning the correct codes for diagnoses and procedures according to coding guidelines.- Ensure accuracy and compliance with coding guidelines: It is crucial to ensure that all assigned codes are accurate and comply with coding guidelines to maintain data integrity and facilitate proper billing and reimbursement processes.- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals: You will need to communicate effectively with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and ensure accurate coding, as well as to resolve any discrepancies or coding issues.- Maintain patient confidentiality: As a medical coder, it is essential to maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to all healthcare privacy regulations while handling medical records and coding information.- Attention to detail and accuracy: A high level of attention to detail is necessary to accurately assign codes to medical records and ensure data accuracy for proper billing and reimbursement processes.- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding guidelines: A clear understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and coding guidelines is essential for accurately assigning codes to medical diagnoses and procedures.- Strong computer skills: Proficiency in using computer software and electronic health record systems is required for efficiently completing coding tasks and maintaining accurate records. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines: As a part-time medical coder working from home, you should be able to work independently, manage your workload effectively, and meet coding deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks.

As a Chemist, you'll be responsible for conducting chemical analyses, experiments, and research in our laboratory. Your primary duties will include performing quality control tests, developing and validating analytical methods, analyzing raw materials and finished products, and documenting findings.
