This role involves ensuring cost compliance, analyzing internal financial processes, and providing insights to improve cost efficiency and financial control.Key Responsibilities:Conduct cost audits in line with statutory and company requirementsReview and verify cost records, reports, and accounting dataAnalyze cost variances, budgets, and standard costing practicesEnsure compliance with the Companies Act and Cost Audit RulesIdentify inefficiencies in cost processes and suggest improvementsPrepare and present detailed audit reports with findings and recommendationsCoordinate with internal departments for data collection and clarificationAssist with monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reporting and planning activitiesRequirements:CMA (ICWA) certified from the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India23 years of hands-on experience in cost auditing or cost accountingIn-depth understanding of cost accounting standards and financial complianceProficient in MS Excel, ERP systems, and financial reporting toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage tight deadlines

We are Hiring Cost Accountant who have experience in manufacturing unit, in costing, material consumption, variance analysis, Pricing, MIS, etc, and Responsibilities.Roles and Responsibilities Planning, Studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labour. Maintaining Cost Accounting System. Collect and organize cost information into a database of expenses Construct systems to accumulate and monitor data Determine and calculate formulas for fixed and variable costs, such as rent, insurance, and monthly purchases Plan budgets and prepare reports for multiple departments within a company Review receipts and compare with actual charges to detect inaccuracies Project profit margins for upcoming quarters and analyse trends of highs and lows Prepare cost forecasts for monthly, quarterly, or annual operating schedules Analyse month-end and year-end reports to identify and recommend cost-effective improvements.Desired Candidate Profile Demonstrated understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Fresher to 2 years of work experience as a cost accountant, analyst, or other relevant role In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and best practices Familiarity with accounting software programs, Computer literacy skills, especially with MS Excel and basic data entry and computation Analytical skills with a keen sense of organization and detail Proven time management skills and ability to work under strict deadlines Respect for confidentiality of information laws and local ethics Expertise in activity-based costing for fixed and variable costs in relation to the overall direct cost of a line of products.
