Billing Head (5-10 Years)

- mentor, train and supervise a team of billing engineers, assistants and site coordinators

- ensure coordination between site teams, contracts/estimation teams and accounts/finance teams

- oversee preparation and submission of interim bills, running-account (ra) bills, milestone bills, final bills and variation/claim bills in line with contract terms and project progress.

- verify site measurements, bills of quantities (boqs), rate analyses, subcontractor/vendor bills and reconciliations of quantities and costs.

- monitor retention, advance recovery, change orders, claims, cost variations and ensure proper documentation for each.

- review contract terms, work orders, amendments, sub-contracts to ensure billing is compliant with contractual obligations.

- work with project management and cost control teams to align billing with work completed, budget vs actual, cash-flow forecasting, cost overrun alerts.

- prepare monthly/quarterly billing reports, cash flow statements, billing dashboards for senior management.

- liaise with internal audit, finance, and accounts departments to ensure billing processes meet company policies, external audit requirements and legal/regulatory standards.

- coordinate with site engineers, project managers, procurement/purchasing and accounts teams to capture accurate progress, material usage, subcontractor/vendor billing data.

- engage with clients, consultants and contractors to resolve billing queries, delays, disputes and ensure timely certification/payment.
