We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to ensure the highest quality of our software products. The successful candidate will have 7 to 12 years of experience in quality assurance and will work closely with development teams to improve the testing process.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Design Test Plans:** Create detailed test plans that outline the testing approach, scope, and objectives, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all software features.- **Execute Tests:** Run various types of tests, including functional, regression, and performance testing, to identify defects and ensure the software meets its requirements.- **Report Issues:** Document defects clearly and accurately in the tracking system, providing information that will assist the development team in understanding and resolving the issues.- **Automate Testing:** Develop and maintain automated test scripts to increase testing efficiency and reduce manual effort, enabling faster release cycles.- **Collaborate with Teams:** Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide feedback on quality aspects.- **Mentor Junior QA Staff:** Provide guidance and support to junior QA engineers, helping them improve their skills and knowledge in quality assurance best practices.**Required Skills and Expectations:**Candidates should have extensive knowledge of QA methodologies and tools. Proficiency in test automation frameworks and scripting languages is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required to identify issues effectively. The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment is crucial, along with excellent communication skills. A passion for quality and attention to detail will drive success in this role.
