The candidate must have a strong understanding of engineering drawings and be capable of interpreting complex geometries, tolerances, and surface finish requirements. Practical knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) is essential for maintaining dimensional accuracy and ensuring compliance with design specifications.The candidate will be responsible for selecting appropriate cutting tools, tool paths, fixtures, and machining strategies based on material and component requirements. A deep understanding of cutting parameters such as speed, feed, depth of cut, and tool life optimization is required to enhance productivity and reduce tool wear.Hands-on experience with machine setup, prove-out, and first-piece inspection is critical.
