Requirements: - Keen knowledge for Sheet metal components in manufacturing - Operate and maintain the performance of CNC Punching Machines for Sheet metal - Good Math skills will help punch press operators understand complex instruction, how schematic work and make sure items are designed and built correctly - Problem solving skills will need to know why machines are not at peak performance and how to increase output and how to fix errors. - Punch presses are precision equipment. Being off by millimeters could be critical error. Keen attention to details is required. - Machine controlled by computers will need operators who understand CAD/CAM technology.- Physical and Stamina:o Punch press operators often work long hours doing repetitive movements.o Physical movement include the lifting, moving etc. which is not limited.
