position: production engineer

qualification: graduation / diploma in field of mechanical /

work experience: fresher / experienced (1 – 2 years)

location: khatraj (near kalol)

main responsibilities:

- coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products

- identify delays and accordingly adjust schedules to meet deadlines

- plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay

- determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand.

- assign workers and other staff to particular production operations.

- keep paperwork (measurements, drawings, programmed) organized.

- collaborate with quality control, warehouse, and other staff.

- ensure that finished products meet quality standards and customer specifications.

- resolve production issues and escalate unresolved issues to management promptly.

- seek and recommend solutions to overcome issues arising to meet production requirement and address operational risks.

requirements:

- keen knowledge for sheet metal components in manufacturing

- operate and maintain the performance of cnc punching machines for sheet metal

- good math skills will help punch press operators understand complex instruction, how schematic work and make sure items are designed and built correctly

- problem solving skills will need to know why machines are not at peak performance and how to increase output and how to fix errors.

- punch presses are precision equipment. being off by millimeters could be critical error. keen attention to details is required.

- machine controlled by computers will need operators who understand cad/cam technology.

- physical and stamina:

o punch press operators often work long hours doing repetitive movements.

o physical movement include the lifting, moving etc. which is not limited.
