We are seeking a experienced Tool Room Incharge to oversee and manage all aspects of our tool room operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mold manufacturing, in-house new mold development, and plastic injection molding processes. This role demands expertise in design reviews, process planning, IATF documentation, and change management (ECN/ECR), along with hands-on experience in VMC machining. Leadership experience in managing a team of 15-20 members is essential.1. Lead and supervise daily tool room activities, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.2. Manage new mold development projects from concept to completion, including design review and validation.3. Plan and execute process planning for mold manufacturing, assembly, and trials.4. Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams to ensure technical specifications are met.5. Review and implement design changes, ensuring timely execution of Engineering Change Notes (ECN) and Engineering Change Requests (ECR).6. Ensure all activities comply with IATF 16949 standards and maintain proper documentation.7. Operate and oversee VMC machining operations and optimize CNC programming where necessary.8. Supervise plastic injection molding activities related to tool trials, sample production, and debugging.9. Monitor and maintain tool maintenance schedules, ensuring minimum downtime and optimal tool life.10. Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations to team members.11. Ensure workplace safety, quality, and productivity within the tool room.12. Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die, or a related field.13. Minimum 5 years of experience in mold manufacturing and tool room management.14. Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, 3D models, and design documentation.15. Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, UG NX)
