Require VMC operator and Helper experience minimum 2 to 3 years;

Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models.Loading raw materials into the CNC / VMCmachine.Inputting the product design into the computer modeling software and VMCChoosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job.Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications.Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product.Cleaning and maintaining the machine.Training new staff on machine operation procedures.

Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, and orthographic drawings.Takes inventory by checking stock to determine the amount available, anticipated stock, and placing orders.Programs mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points.Sets-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, and attachments.Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces.Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing operations.
