As a Supply Chain Manager, your primary responsibility is to oversee the logistics and operations of the supply chain at our Dum Dum, Kolkata location. This includes coordinating transportation, inventory management, and working with suppliers to ensure smooth operations.Key responsibilities include managing inventory levels to meet customer demand, optimizing transportation routes to reduce costs, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. You will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts to ensure favorable terms for the company.To excel in this role, you should have strong communication skills to coordinate with various stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and internal teams. Computer networking skills are essential for managing digital supply chain systems. Additionally, knowledge of airport operations is a plus, as our location is near the airport. Physical fitness is important for this role, as it may involve some manual labor and observation skills are needed to identify potential issues in the supply chain and address them promptly.We are looking for a male candidate with a 12th pass education and 0-1 years of experience in a similar role. 1) Manage supply chain operations, logistics & order management at plant.2) Must have knowledge of National and International import/export legislation and must be able to effectively troubleshoot any issues that may arise in international freight transportation.3) Should be able to handle DGFT & Govt.
