Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices. Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification. Organize safety drills (fire, chemical spill, evacuation). Train operators, helpers, and contractors on SOPs and emergency response. Promote a Safety culture across shifts. Investigate accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions. Prepare reports and recommend corrective actions. Maintain records for audits and compliance inspections. Monitor handling of hazardous chemicals (methanol, solvents, acids). Ensure safe startup/shutdown procedures. Coordinate with production and maintenance teams during critical operations. Maintain safety logs, permits-to-work, and compliance checklists.
