Job Description:

• Enforce statutory safety regulations (Factories Act, OSHA, ISO standards).

• Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices.

• Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification.

• Organize safety drills (fire, chemical spill, evacuation).

• Train operators, helpers, and contractors on SOPs and emergency response.

• Promote a Safety culture across shifts.

• Investigate accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions.

• Prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.

• Maintain records for audits and compliance inspections.

• Monitor handling of hazardous chemicals (methanol, solvents, acids).

• Ensure safe startup/shutdown procedures.

• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams during critical operations.

• Maintain safety logs, permits-to-work, and compliance checklists.

• Prepare monthly safety performance reports for management.
