We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our team in Guwahati, India. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 4 years of experience in civil engineering and hold a relevant graduate degree. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing construction projects. You will ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget while adhering to safety and quality standards.Key responsibilities include:- **Project Design:** Create detailed drawings and specifications for construction projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and comply with building codes.- **Site Management:** Oversee construction sites, coordinating with workers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects run smoothly and efficiently.- **Quality Control:** Conduct inspections and tests on materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with quality standards and legal regulations.- **Problem-Solving:** Address any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process, adjusting plans or methods as necessary to maintain project timelines.To be successful in this role, candidates must have a strong foundation in civil engineering principles and proficient skills in design software. Good communication and teamwork abilities are essential for collaborating with other professionals. The ability to manage time effectively and pay close attention to detail is also critical for ensuring successful project completion. 1. Implementing and testing and evaluation methods to maintain Product Quality2. Validating data's achieved from testing performed by Q.C Executives.3. Maintaining & keeping records of Product sample boxes.4. Maintaining the Machine Calibration Register and its documents5. Monthly Reporting - having details of monthly Inward receipts, qc checked.

-Check and verify the quality parameters of raw plastics, resins, masterbatches, colourants, additives, etc., as they arrive (conforming to internal specifications, ISO standards).-Inspect incoming packaging components (caps, closures, jars, bottles) for dimensional accuracy, material integrity, surface defects, colour consistency, etc.-Maintain records of material certificates (COAs), lab test reports, lot numbers, supplier performance data.Supervise production stages (injection moulding, blow moulding, extrusion, finishing operations) to ensure process parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time, cooling time, dimensional tolerances) are maintained.-Prepare/issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for rejects and coordinate the segregation of defectives.-Use the in-house Quality Control Laboratory to perform tests such as melt flow index, gloss meter, micrometer, vernier caliper, weight measurement, height gauge, etc.

- Establish, implement and maintain quality control procedures for the cardboard packaging production processfrom raw material (paperboard, corrugated) inspection through to finished-goods packaging.- Monitor and verify incoming materials (paperboard, adhesives, coatings, inks) to ensure they meet specified quality standards and supplier quality agreements.- Conduct in-process inspections (e.g., cutting, folding, gluing, printing) to identify defects, non-conformances, and ensure process consistency.- Perform final inspections of finished packaging products (e.g., cartons, boxes, corrugated packaging) to ensure dimensional accuracy, structural strength, print and finish quality, customer specification compliance, and packaging integrity for transit.- Prepare, update and manage documentation related to quality: inspection logs, test certificates, supplier quality records, deviation/non-conformity reports, corrective & preventive action (CAPA) logs.- Assist in internal audits and external certification/third-party audits; coordinate with auditors and ensure necessary corrective actions are tracked and closed.- Liaise with procurement/sourcing to evaluate and monitor suppliers of paperboard, corrugated sheets, adhesives, inks, coatings and other packaging-materials; conduct supplier audits and performance reviews.- Ensure raw materials and packaging consumables meet required specifications and regulatory/industry standards (e.g., recycling content, strength/rigidity, printability).- Identify quality-risk areas in manufacturing and packaging processes (e.g., gluing failures, print mis-registration, board delamination, damage during transit) and propose corrective/preventive actions.- Collaborate with production, engineering, printing, packaging & logistics teams to implement process improvements that reduce defects, reduce waste/scrap, improve throughput and enhance overall packaging quality.- Ensure that the packaging products comply with customer specifications (dimensions, strength, finish, labeling) and legal/regulatory requirements (e.g., packaging material standards, recycling requirements, export packaging rules if relevant).- Handle customer packaging quality complaints/feedback: investigate, report findings, implement corrective actions, communicate status to customer service/sales teams.- Train production, packaging and inspection staff on quality standards, inspection procedures, documentation requirements and best practices for cardboard packaging.- Promote a quality-first culture in the factory: encourage proactive reporting of quality issues, foster continuous learning and improvement, work closely with all departments to instill ownership of quality.

- Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations and evaluate ground/soil conditions prior to project start.- Prepare and review detailed engineering designs, drawings, blueprints and technical specifications in collaboration with architects, structural engineers and other stakeholders.- Estimate quantities, material requirements, labour, equipment and cost budgets for civil construction projects.- Supervise and monitor construction activities on-site to ensure work is proceeding as per design, schedule and quality standards.- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, environmental standards and company quality guidelines.- Manage coordination between contractors, subcontractors, vendors, site technicians and other personnel to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion.- Implement and oversee quality control procedures: inspect workmanship, materials (concrete, steel, earthworks), and ensure specifications are met.- Monitor and record site progress, maintain logs and reports of inspections, deviations, corrective actions and ensure follow-up.- Track project timelines, identify delays or risks, propose corrective measures and work to keep the project on schedule and within budget.- Plan and procure materials, allocate manpower and equipment, optimize resource utilization and minimize wastage.- Obtain necessary permits, approvals and ensure the project adheres to statutory and environmental guidelines.- Prepare technical reports, project documentation, drawings, and provide regular updates to senior management and clients.- Liaise with clients, architects, consultants, contractors and internal teams to align project scope, expectations and deliverables.- Facilitate project meetings, walk-throughs, problem-solving sessions and ensure stakeholders are informed of progress and challenges.
