PL/SQL Developer Job Details: Responsibilities Designs, develops, enhances, debugs and implements software. Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications Familiarity with software architectures, standard lifecycle concepts, practices, and procedures for development of JAVA based applications to include graphical user interfaces, web services, data extraction and transformation Significant knowledge of PL/ SQL including tuning, triggers, and stored procedures Prepare and package scripts and code across development, test and QA environments Participate in change control planning for production deployments Desire to learn new skills and improve existing ones Strong analytical skills Team building skills and exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in computer science or Information Systems 5 + years of Oracle Database Development experience with latest development skills on Oracle Experience using the PLSQL Developer or Toad software packages Experience with writing ad hoc scripts and stored procedures Experience developing queries, procedures, and reports for enterprise Oracle environment Performance analysis with large data sets Experience in designing and maintaining logical and physical data models Experience in the design, development, and maintenance of ETL processes Experience performing SQL and PL/SQL tuning Experience writing stored procedures, packages and functions using PL/SQL.
