Job descriptionRole and responsibilities:- Planning and preparing courses and lessons. Maintaining up to date subject knowledge related to CBSE preparation for Classes 6th to 12th. Be proactively involved in teaching students. Motivating, facilitating, teaching, according to the pupil's educational needs. Plan, prepare and present lessons that cater to the needs of the whole ability range within their class. Preparing weekly assignments for each batch assigned to him/her. Timely correction and marking of assignment work carried out by the students in class and elsewhere. Assessing, recording and reporting on the development and progress of students. Laboratory Management & Practical TrainingConduct regular, hands-on laboratory sessions to bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and practical applications. Ensure absolute safety protocols are maintained within the Physics laboratory. Guide students effectively through practical records, investigatory projects, and core experiments required for board assessments. 3. Assessment & Student EvaluationDesign high-quality question papers, periodic tests, assignments, and mock examinations aligned with the latest board patterns.Evaluate student performance systematically, providing constructive, detailed feedback to ensure steady academic growth. Identify students requiring additional academic support and conduct tailored remedial classes or mentorship sessions. 4. Co-curricular & Administrative DutiesSpearhead and support science-related activities, including Science Exhibitions, Olympiads, and inter-school competitions. Maintain meticulous records of student attendance, academic progress, and internal assessments. Active collaboration with fellow faculty members and the academic coordinator for institutional planning and curriculum development. Required Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Postgraduate degree in Physics (M.Sc. in Physics / Applied Physics) from a recognized university. Professional Degree: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is mandatory.
