In this role, you will be directly responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and optimizing high-speed blister packaging machines tailored for global pharmaceutical clients. You will balance complex motion mechanics (servo indexing, web handling, cam synchronization) with strict sanitary design regulations to deliver cutting-edge, production-ready machinery.Key Responsibilities:Machine Design: Develop complete 3D models and 2D manufacturing blueprints for high-speed blister packaging equipment, including forming stations, feeding systems, sealing plates, and die-cutter assemblies.Tooling Customization: Engineer client-specific, rapid-changeover cavity molds and sealing toolings compatible with various film types (PVC, PVDC, Alu-Alu, Aclar).Motion & Automation Integration: Design mechanical layouts integrating multi-axis servo drives, electronic cams, pneumatics, and vacuum systems for precise film handling and sheet tension control.Smart System Housing: Collaborate with automation teams to incorporate visual inspection cameras, pinhole detectors, checkweighers, and automated reject mechanisms.Compliance & Validation: Ensure all mechanical architectures strictly adhere to cGMP, FDA, and CE standards, while supporting the creation of Design Qualification (DQ) documentation.Prototype Testing: Participate heavily in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews, shop-floor assembly troubleshooting, and initial Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).Required Skills & Qualifications:Education: Bachelors degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Packaging Engineering, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 2 years of core mechanical design experience specifically within packaging or pharmaceutical machinery manufacturing.CAD Mastery: Expert proficiency in 3D CAD modeling software (such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or Creo) and PLM/ERP data management.Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), finite element analysis (FEA), web-handling, and mechanical cam synchronization.Material Expertise: Clear comprehension of food/pharma-grade metals (SS316L) and structural plastics, alongside thermal sealing properties.Shift & Schedule: Full-time, PermanentDay shift (Monday to Friday)Benefits & Perks:Bus Facility, Canteen, Leave Benefits, Bonus, Salary Slip

A. Production Planning:Develop and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on demand forecasts, sales trends, and inventory levels. - Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams to ensure production plans align with compliance requirements. - Ensure proper capacity planning to avoid bottlenecks in production. B. Procurement & Vendor Management:- Source and procure raw materials (APIs, excipients), packaging materials, and consumables as per production needs. - Negotiate with vendors to get the best pricing, quality, and delivery timelines. - Develop and maintain relationships with approved suppliers and ensure compliance with procurement policies. C. Inventory Management & Materials Control:- Maintain optimum inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking. - Implement inventory tracking systems (SAP, ERP, or manual tracking) to ensure accurate stock records. - Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations to prevent pilferage and wastage. D. Supply Chain Coordination:- Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure the timely dispatch of materials to production units. - Optimize supply chain workflows to reduce lead times and costs. - Address logistics issues such as import/export delays, supplier disruptions, and transportation bottlenecks. E. Compliance & Documentation:- Ensure all procurement and inventory management processes comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA, and other regulatory guidelines. - Maintain accurate MRP (Material Requirements Planning) records, purchase orders, and vendor contracts. - Coordinate with the regulatory affairs team to ensure compliance with pharma industry norms.

B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.sc / M.Sc. with 3 - 5 years of experience in Formulation Div.
