This involves setting up the machinery, connecting it to power and networks, and performing initial tests to ensure it is fully functional.Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent breakdowns. When a machine fails, they diagnose the problem and perform on-site repairs, replacing faulty parts as needed.Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Use a variety of diagnostic tools and their technical knowledge to identify the root cause of equipment malfunctions. They must be skilled in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and software issues.Customer Support and Training: Provide technical support to customers and train them on how to properly operate and maintain the equipment. They are responsible for ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all service calls, repairs performed, and parts used. They also prepare service reports and provide feedback to engineering and product teams to help improve future products.
