An AC Technician installs, repairs, and maintains air conditioning systems in homes, offices, and industries. - Perform AC installations: As an AC Technician, you will be responsible for properly installing air conditioning units in residential or commercial buildings. This includes ensuring all components are connected correctly and the unit is functioning efficiently.- Conduct AC maintenance: You will need to regularly inspect and maintain air conditioning systems to ensure they are running smoothly. This includes cleaning filters, checking for leaks, and replacing any damaged parts.- Assist with AC repairs: In the event of a malfunction, you will need to troubleshoot the issue and make repairs as necessary. This could involve fixing leaks, replacing faulty components, or recalibrating the system.- Support senior technicians: As an AC Helper, you will work alongside experienced technicians to learn new skills and gain hands-on experience in the field. This role involves assisting with various tasks and learning how to effectively troubleshoot HVAC systems.Required skills and expectations:- Knowledge of AC motors and components: You should have a good understanding of how air conditioning systems work, including the different components involved in cooling the air.- Technical skills: An AC Technician needs to be technically competent in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems.
