Responsibilities:Understanding and Developing preliminary design plans, includes all working drawings like electrical, HVAC, furniture details etc.Interpret and translate customer requirements into practical solutions via layouts and relevant presentations.Specifying materials for the space which would help translate the needs and requirements. For example:- Enabling the senses like touch and feel, using textures the right way.Developing and working around time schedules to coordinate with the vendors and clients, to execute a perfect time bound project.Conduct on-site observations and provide recommendations to help streamline ongoing design projects. Proper quality checks with set standards are mandatory, educating the juniors and supervisors about the desired output.RequirementsBachelors Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related disciplineProven working experience in decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions)Expertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations.Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator and any rendering software.Familiarity with appropriate design and visualisation toolsMust have a thorough knowledge of construction materials and accessoriesGood communication and presentation skills
