About the Role:We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong portfolio of video content, good compositing skills, a strong aesthetic sense and a good command of visual storytelling. In addition to video editing, the role also requires a working knowledge of graphic design tools to support content creation needs across platforms.Key Responsibilities:We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with Graphic Design skills to produce engaging and high-quality social media video content. You will be responsible for editing raw footage, creating motion graphics, and designing visuals that align with our brands tone and audience preferences across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and more.Video Editing :Edit and assemble raw footage into polished social media videos (reels, promos, corporate videos, ads, etc.).Enhance videos with music, sound effects, motion graphics, dynamic transitions, color grading, and text overlays.Optimize videos for various social media platforms ensuring adherence to platform-specific guidelines (format, resolution, aspect ratio, length, etc.).Collaborate with the content, social media, and marketing teams to understand the creative vision and project goals.Organize and manage media assets (footage, music, graphics) for efficient workflow and maintain control over the different iterations.Implement feedback from stakeholders to improve final video outputs with quick turnaround times.Provide constructive feedback to on-camera talent to ensure high-quality footage.Assist in creating short-form videos like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and similar formats.Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing, social media content, and platform algorithms.Analyze video performance metrics (engagement, views, retention) and collaborate with strategists to optimize future content.Graphic Design (Secondary Skill Set):Repurpose video content into supporting graphics like storyboards, infographics, quote cards, and promotional creatives.Design static visuals such as social media posts, presentations, and internal communication materials.Ensure visual consistency and brand alignment across all content.Skills & Requirements:Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio of social media content.Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects. Bonus Final Cut Pro.Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.Understanding of sound design, color grading, and basic animation principles.Familiarity with social media formats (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn videos, etc.).Strong visual storytelling skills with high attention to detail.Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to feedback and collaboration.Brownie points if youre handy with AI tools and platforms that help improve efficiency and bring variety to your output.
