Sales and Client Acquisition: Find and acquire new clients (people and companies) using cold calls, networking, and referrals. Achieve daily and monthly sales targets for mutual funds and insurance. 2. Product Expertise: Clearly explain the features, benefits, risks, and coverage of Mutual Funds, Fire Insurance, and Marine Insurance. 3. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with all clients. Act as their main point of contact for service and support. 4. Transaction Support (Mutual Funds): Advise clients and process requests like purchases, redemptions, switches (SIP, STP, SWP), and other account changes accurately and quickly. 5. Insurance Sales & Coordination: Explain specific policy details (coverage, limits) for Fire and Marine Insurance. Work with underwriters and claims teams to provide quotes and help process claims. 6. Query and Issue Resolution: Handle all client queries, including mailbox/email requests, for both financial and non-financial transactions promptly and accurately. 7. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all sales, advice, and transactions follow SEBI/IRDAI rules and internal compliance guidelines. Maintain accurate records and client profiles (CRM). Essential Skills 1. Communication & Sales: Strong ability to start conversations, present ideas clearly, negotiate, and close deals. 2. Business Development & Client Acquisition Identify and prospect potential corporate clients across target industries, including Large Corporates, MSMEs, and sector-specific businesses. Identify engagement opportunities with companies in various industrial sectors to convert business across multiple insurance lines Property, Project, Liability, Group Health (GMC), Group Personal Accident (GPA), Marine, Engineering, and other commercial insurance products. Build and manage a strong sales funnel to achieve revenue growth, business targets, and overall profitability. Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calls, digital outreach, and participation in business events or industry forums. Design and implement effective marketing and sales strategies to promote insurance products and expand market presence. B. Sales Strategy & Presentation Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve assigned business goals and increase market penetration. Conduct detailed insurance presentations, product demonstrations, and proposal pitches to clients, highlighting coverage benefits, competitive advantages, and value propositions. Customize insurance solutions as per the clients risk profile, business requirements, and industry needs. Support clients in selecting appropriate insurance products aligned with regulatory and commercial requirements. Convert inquiries into sales through effective communication, negotiation, and consultative selling. C. Client Relationship Management Maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure renewals, retention, and cross-selling opportunities. Conduct regular client engagement meetings, renewal discussions, and policy servicing follow-ups. Provide professional advice regarding policy features, terms, benefits, and coverage options. Assist clients with claims processes and provide end-to-end after-sales support for a smooth service experience. Act as a trusted advisor by offering insights on risk management and coverage enhancements. D. Policy Processing & Administration Process new policy applications accurately and within the defined timeline. Prepare, review, and negotiate policy renewals to achieve maximum client retention. Maintain complete and confidential records of proposals, quotations, policy documents, and client communications. Ensure compliance with all company procedures and IRDAI regulations in policy documentation and client servicing. Submit timely reports on sales activities, renewals, and performance metrics to management. E. Market Research & Intelligence Stay updated on market trends, emerging risks, and competitor activities within the corporate insurance segment. Analyze business opportunities across new industries, geographies, and client segments for potential acquisition. Share market intelligence, client feedback, and competitive insights with management to refine sales strategies and product offerings. F. Training, Professional Development & Teamwork Participate in product and sales training programs to enhance knowledge of insurance products, selling techniques, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve team goals and contribute to a positive, performance-driven work environment.
