The Admission Counselor is responsible for managing the end-to-end admission process bycounselling prospective parents and students, converting inquiries into enrolments, andensuring a smooth, professional, and positive admission experience aligned with CBSE normsand school policies.Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Inquiry Handling & Counseling Act as the first point of contact for admission inquiries (walk-ins, calls, emails,WhatsApp, website, social media). Counsel parents and students on curriculum, CBSE framework, school philosophy,infrastructure, activities, fees, and policies. Provide accurate and timely information to address parent queries and concerns.2. Lead Management & Follow-ups Maintain a structured database of inquiries, follow-ups, visits, and conversions. Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure timely closure of admissions. Track inquiry-to-admission conversion ratios.3. School Tours & Open Houses Schedule and conduct campus tours and open house events. Present school offerings confidently and professionally. Coordinate with academic and administrative teams during visits.4. Admission Process & Documentation Guide parents through application procedures (online/offline). Ensure collection, verification, and submission of all required documents as per CBSEguidelines. Coordinate entrance tests, interviews, and admission confirmations.Admission Counselor5. Coordination & Internal Communication Work closely with the Principal, Coordinators, Teachers, Accounts, and Transportteams. Communicate assessment outcomes and admission status to parents. Support orientation programs for newly admitted parents and students.6. Marketing & Outreach Support Assist in admission campaigns, school events, exhibitions, and community outreachprograms. Share parent feedback and market insights with management. Represent the school professionally at external events.7. Reporting & Compliance Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly admission reports. Maintain confidentiality of student and parent information.
