Duties/Responsibilities: -Operates a wide variety of hand and power tools.Closely follows directions to operate machinery, hold or supply materials and tools, and load or unload items on machinery and assembly lines.Assist with assembly of metal fabricated parts on assembly lines.Cleans and maintains a manufacturing area free from debris and dirt, and readies or puts away tools as assigned.Performs miscellaneous jobs at the plant, as needed.May be trained to act as forklift operator when normal operator is out.Reports any issues to supervisor or higher-level employee.Required Skills/Abilities: -Good verbal and written communication skills.Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.Ability to handle materials and equipment in a responsible manner.Ability to perform basic arithmetic as needed.Ability to work in a variety of roles.

Ensure all standard quality procedures are followed such as machine set-up, operation, inspection, documentation and material handling. Maintain 5S in the workplace.Preference: Candidate should be able to read drawing independently. Candidate should properly handle Machine Controller. Knowledge of VMC machine and its parts functions. Required Setup Changes and approvals/ Tool Pre setting Responsible for shift wise desired defect free production output. Report breakdowns & coordinate for rectification. Close Coordination with machine operators and Line Inspectors. Coordinate with all the concerned departments. Material Accountability.(Receipt from stores to shift wise output to de-burring section ) Run Chart Preparation. Maintaining job card / route card / work order Maintaining In Process Inspection Reports. Accountability of tools, jigs and fixtures in proper condition.
