ROV Operator (Civil): -Job Description:The ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) Operator handles underwater robotic systems used for inspections, data collection, or maintenance in hazardous or inaccessible areas, operated remotely from a surface vessel or other location. This role combines mechanical, electrical, and software knowledge for operating and maintaining ROVs.ROV Operators work on-site, handling robotic machines. Operate remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), handle machine control panel, basic maintenance. Machine operation, control system handling, troubleshootingRoles & Responsibilities: Deploy, operate, and retrieve ROV systems during field assignments (marine, pipelines, tanks, etc.) Perform regular preventive maintenance and repairs on ROV equipment Configure sensors, cameras, and communication modules for underwater data capture Analyse and report collected data to project teams and clients Work closely with engineering and IT teams for system upgrades and documentation Ensure adherence to safety and operational protocols during ROV missions Collaborate on designing modifications for ROV hardware and control softwareQualifications: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Civil, Electronics, Instrumentation, IT, or Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electronic engineering.
