ROV Operator (Civil): -

Job Description:

The ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) Operator handles underwater robotic systems used for inspections, data collection, or maintenance in hazardous or inaccessible areas, operated remotely from a surface vessel or other location. This role combines mechanical, electrical, and software knowledge for operating and maintaining ROVs.

ROV Operators work on-site, handling robotic machines. Operate remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), handle machine control panel, basic maintenance. Machine operation, control system handling, troubleshooting

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deploy, operate, and retrieve ROV systems during field assignments (marine, pipelines, tanks, etc.)

• Perform regular preventive maintenance and repairs on ROV equipment

• Configure sensors, cameras, and communication modules for underwater data capture

• Analyse and report collected data to project teams and clients

• Work closely with engineering and IT teams for system upgrades and documentation

• Ensure adherence to safety and operational protocols during ROV missions

• Collaborate on designing modifications for ROV hardware and control software

Qualifications:

• Diploma / . / in Electrical, Civil, Electronics, Instrumentation, IT, or Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electronic engineering.

• Work in water waste or water treatment and marine/industrial robotics exposure would be added advantage

Diploma/Certifications:

• ROV Pilot Technician (IMCA-recognized)

• STCW (Basic Safety Training – marine ops)

• PLC/SCADA knowledge, Basic Networking, Remote Monitoring Systems

Skills Required:

• Troubleshooting of electronic circuits, motors, hydraulics

• Hands-on knowledge of underwater sensors, fiber optics, sonar, and cabling

• Data handling, video logging, and mission reporting

• Field adaptability and safety awareness

• Communication with project teams and clients

Salary-

18k – 25k per month plus benefits

Job Location-

Office is in Noida (Site visit would be as per Projects, pan India and Abroad)
