Candidates from Machining & Forging Industry Preferred.Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a quality inspector in the machining, forging, or metal manufacturing industry.1. Inspect Machined and Forged Parts: Perform visual and dimensional inspections of machined and forged components using precision measurement tools such as vernier calipers, micrometer, gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).2. Monitor Production Line: Continuously observe the production process to detect and address any non-conformance or potential quality issues.3. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of inspections, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and quality checks. Communicate findings to supervisors and quality engineers.4. Adherence to Specifications: Ensure that all parts meet the specifications, blueprints, and customer requirements. Identify and segregate defective products.5. Tool Calibration: Verify that inspection tools and gauges are properly calibrated and functioning within their specifications.6. Collaboration: Work closely with the production and engineering teams to resolve quality concerns, implement corrective actions, and improve process control.7. Quality Audits: Participate in internal and external quality audits to ensure adherence to industry standards such as ISO 9001 or other relevant certifications.8. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to company safety protocols and industry regulations during all inspections and while working on the production line.Technical Skills:1. Proficient in using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometer, gauges, etc.).2. Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.3. Familiarity with CNC machining, forging processes, and metallurgical properties is an advantage.4. Experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) is a plus.
