Candidate should have a good experience in Billing for a Government Infrastructure Project, Building works having knowledge of Central Government Works/ DSR/CPWDJob Description:We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Billing Engineer to join our team for a government infrastructure project. The ideal candidate should have experience in building works and should have knowledge of Central Government Works/ DSR/CPWD.Responsibilities:Preparation of interim and final bills for the project as per the guidelines provided by the client.Verify and certify the contractor's bills and claims for payment.Preparation of cost estimates and rate analysis for various items of work.Preparation of work order and letter of acceptance for the awarded work.Coordination with the client, contractor, and other stakeholders for timely submission of bills and settlement of claims.Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports.Verification and certification of variations, if any, and preparation of additional claims, if necessary.Calculation of penalties, if any, as per the contract terms and conditions.Review of contractual terms and conditions and compliance with the same.Preparation of tender documents and bill of quantities.Analysis of rates and preparation of cost comparison statements.Coordination with the site team for smooth implementation of the project.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in billing and cost management of infrastructure projects.Thorough knowledge of Central Government Works/ DSR/CPWD.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and within a team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in work.Knowledge of relevant software tools such as AutoCAD and billing software will be an added advantage.
