Call Insurance companies on behalf of physicians and carryout further examination on outstanding Accounts ReceivablesPrioritize unpaid claims for calling according to the length of time it has been outstandingCall insurance companies directly and convince them to pay the outstanding claimsCheck the relevance of insurance info offered by the patientEvaluate unpaid insurance claimsCall insurance companies and check on the status of claimsTransfer the outstanding balance to the patient of he/she doesnt have adequate insurance coverageIf the claim has already been paid, ask the insurance company for Explanation of Benefits (EOB)Make corrections to the claim based on inputs from the insurance company

Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the client requirements and specifications of the projectEnsure targeted collections are met on a daily/monthly basisProcess claims and ensure collections are metAnalyze the rejected/denied claims and understand the reasons of rejections/denial and reprocess the same for paymentMeet the productivity targets of clients within the stipulated timeEnsure that the deliverables to the client adhere to the quality standardsEnsure follow-up on pending claimsPrepare and maintain status reports
