we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven travel sales executive to join our team. the ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, excellent communication skills, and a strong sales acumen. you will be responsible for selling travel packages, handling customer queries, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction from inquiry to post-travel.
key responsibilities:
proactively sell domestic and international travel packages (flights, hotels, tours, visas, etc.)
handle inbound and outbound travel inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
customize travel itineraries to meet client needs and preferences
convert leads into confirmed bookings and meet/exceed monthly sales targets
maintain knowledge of current travel trends, destinations, visa procedures, and promotions
build long-term relationships with clients for repeat and referral business
coordinate with suppliers, airlines, hotels, and other service providers to ensure smooth execution
process bookings, payments, and necessary documentation
resolve customer issues and complaints with professionalism and efficiency
maintain accurate records of all bookings and client interactions using crm tools
requirements:
bachelor's degree in travel & tourism, hospitality, or related field (preferred)
proven experience in travel sales, preferably 13 years in a similar role
strong knowledge of global destinations, airlines, hotels, and travel products
excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
customer-focused with a positive attitude
proficient in ms office and travel booking systems (., gds/amadeus/sabre is a plus)
ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
desirable qualities:
fluency in multiple languages
sales certification or travel industry training
