Position Summary:The Senior Manager of Design, Research, and Development will lead the R&D efforts in the development of advanced HVAC Chillers and Heat Pumps. This role involves managing a team of design engineers, overseeing product design, development, testing, and ensuring that new products meet market requirements and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HVAC systems.Key Responsibilities:Require good Knowledge of HVAC equipment and its working for different applications for different domains, knowledge of product system, qualification, certification like AHRI, BEE labeling, ASHREA, ASME & NABL for product & Lab.Oversee the design and development of HVAC Chillers and Heat Pumps from concept to production.Should be able to configure and design chiller package in air cooled, water cooled & low temperature application.Hands on experience in designing screw and scroll heat pump.Should be able to design and select components of chillers.Should be able to design Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers.Development of new cost competitive & energy efficient product range for screw & scroll chillers as per government compliance and technology upgradation.Utilize advanced simulation tools and methodologies for thermal analysis and system design.Co-ordination with design team for market trend and develop cost competitive product.Cohesively working with sales & marketing team to benchmark of competition, customer requirements and technology upgradation to inbuilt the scenarios in new product range to be developed to increase market share our business goal.Managed the product certification of chiller as per AHRI requirement.Ensure robust testing, validation, and troubleshooting of prototypes and final products.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
