key responsibilities:
1. sales and business development
establish, develop and maintain business relationship with current customers and actively identify and engage potential customers, including contractors, electrical engineers, project managers, and industrial clients.
generate leads through site visits, networking, referrals, and cold calling.
conduct regular field visits to build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
monitor competitor activities, market trends, and new product developments to maintain a competitive advantage.
2. product knowledge and technical support
demonstrate in-depth understanding of electrical products, systems, and their applications.
provide technical assistance to customers in selecting appropriate materials and equipment.
conduct product demonstrations and presentations highlighting features, benefits, and applications.
prepare accurate and competitive quotations aligned with customer needs and project requirements.
3. sales target achievement
consistently meet or surpass individual and departmental sales targets.
track and report on sales performance, pipeline progress, and opportunities.
adjust sales strategies proactively based on performance analysis and market feedback.
4. customer service and coordination
deliver excellent service throughout the sales process, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
resolve client inquiries, complaints, or issues promptly and professionally.
coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and accounts teams to ensure timely order processing and delivery.
conduct post-sales follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
5. marketing and promotion
support marketing initiatives by promoting new products, sales campaigns, and seasonal promotions.
gather market intelligence and customer feedback to guide future marketing and product strategies.
6. reporting and documentation
maintain detailed records of client interactions, quotations, sales activities, and inventory movements.
prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance summaries to management.
keep up to date with company pricing structures, discounts, and payment terms.
qualifications and experience:
bachelors degree in electrical engineering, business administration, sales, or a related field (preferred). technical certifications or training in electrical products/sales are an advantage.
at least 5 years of experience in electrical product sales, strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, products and applications preferably within construction, contracting, or industrial sectors.
result oriented, strong sales closing abilities, and proven record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
experience in selling electrical components, cables, lighting, switchgear, or related materials preferred.
excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service and negotiation skills.
ability to read and interpret electrical drawings/specifications.
proficiency in microsoft office (excel, word, powerpoint) and crm/sales software.
strong organizational, time-management, and self-motivation skills.
ability to work independently in the field and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
preferably male
qatar driving license holder is highly preferred
