this job involves lot of customer visits and hence travelling / outstation touring is an integral aspect of this job.
job accountability:
• revenue targets for existing customer accounts
• revenue targets from new accounts in a given geography &/or segment
• specific revenue and lead generation-based targets for newly introduced products by the company
• developing new oem and new application customer for the company products.
key responsibilities:
• maintain relationship with key stakeholders in existing customer accounts
• develop business in new accounts
• set up meetings of director with decision makers of potential high value accounts
• coordinate with back office to ensure timely and accurate submission of quotations
• effective data maintenance and data analysis and forecast of sales for allotted region

• interpersonal communication
• skills needed to create conversations with new people
• effective data analysis skills
• sensing of opportunities and qualifying them into aspects of probability and urgency
• ability to position a product against the customer’s precise need
• discipline of keeping notes, rigorous follow-up and use of sales procedures like dsr, weekly and monthly reporting etc.

• ability to understand terminologies used in engineering industry
• familiarity with terms & conditions of tenders and supply logistics
experience:
• minimum 1-2 years experience in selling of engineering product.
