Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, understanding customer technical requirements, and providing suitable product solutions. The role requires a combination of strong technical knowledge and sales abilities to effectively communicate product value to customers and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the assigned territory or market segment.
Conduct client meetings and site visits to understand customer requirements and technical needs.
Provide technical consultation and product recommendations to customers based on their requirements.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to clients.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
Generate and follow up on sales leads to convert them into business opportunities.
Prepare quotations, technical proposals, and cost estimates in coordination with internal teams.
Coordinate with engineering, service, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by the company.
Maintain accurate sales records, customer data, and reports using CRM systems or internal tools.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
Provide post-sales support and coordination when required to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or a related Engineering field.
Additional training or certification in sales or marketing will be an advantage.
Experience
1–4 years of experience in technical sales, industrial sales, or engineering sales.
Experience in handling B2B clients and industrial products will be preferred.
Required Skills
Strong technical knowledge and ability to understand engineering products.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Good negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and product demonstrations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
Valid driving license may be preferred for field visits.
