Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Relationship Management:

o Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing SME clients.

o Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing queries, providing advice, and resolving any issues.

2. Loan Origination and Management:

o Assess client financial needs and recommend suitable SME loan products.

o Guide clients through the loan application process, ensuring all documentation is completed correctly.

o Monitor loan performance and work with clients to address repayment issues if they arise.

3. Business Development:

o Identify and pursue opportunities to acquire new SME clients, either through referrals, networking, or prospecting.

o Develop a strong understanding of the SME market to tailor loan products to clients' needs.

4. Cross-Selling and Upselling:

o Promote and cross-sell other banking products and services such as business accounts, insurance, or investment products to enhance revenue streams.

o Build a portfolio of SME clients and ensure their continued satisfaction with the bank's offerings.

5. Financial Analysis:

o Perform financial assessments and analysis of SME clients to determine their loan eligibility and risk profile.

o Work closely with the credit team to ensure the creditworthiness of clients before loan approval.

6. Customer Retention:

o Work on strengthening client relationships to enhance retention and repeat business.

o Provide ongoing support to ensure client satisfaction and address any concerns regarding the loan products.

7. Reporting and Compliance:

o Regularly report on sales performance, client interactions, and loan status to management.

o Ensure all loan disbursements and client interactions comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Experience in sales, relationship management, or banking (preferably with SMEs).

Strong understanding of SME banking products and services.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Analytical abilities for assessing client financial needs.

Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
