Job Description

key responsibilities:

1. greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate person or department: as a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, so you must greet them warmly and assist them in finding who they need to speak with.

2. answering and forwarding phone calls: you will be responsible for answering incoming calls and ensuring they are directed to the right person or department.

4. maintaining the reception area: keeping the reception area clean and organized is important to create a positive first impression for visitors.

5. assisting with administrative tasks: receptionists may be asked to help with tasks such as data entry, filing, and scheduling appointments.
