Urgent Requirement For Plant Manager

We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations in Nairobi. The ideal candidate will have 15 to 25 years of experience in production management and a graduate degree. This is a full-time position that requires working from the office.

The Plant Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient plant operations, maintaining quality standards, and promoting a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. **Operational Management**: Oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities to ensure production goals are met while optimizing productivity and reducing costs.

2. **Quality Control**: Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to guarantee that products meet company and industry standards.

3. **Safety Compliance**: Promote a strong safety culture by adhering to safety regulations and policies, conducting regular safety training, and addressing hazards promptly.

4. **Team Leadership**: Lead and develop a diverse team, fostering a collaborative environment while managing performance evaluations and training initiatives.

5. **Budget Management**: Prepare and manage the plant’s budget, tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Required Skills and Expectations:

The ideal candidate should possess excellent leadership skills and the ability to communicate clearly with team members at all levels. Strong analytical skills are needed to assess processes and implement improvements. Proficiency in production management software and a deep understanding of manufacturing principles are essential.
