Purchase Head (Civil/Interior Projects)

We are looking for a Purchase Head with expertise in civil and interior projects to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should have 7 to 10 years of relevant experience, possess a graduate degree, and be comfortable working in an office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the best quality and price. This includes negotiating contracts to secure favorable terms.

2. Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored for civil and interior projects to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials.

3. Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and oversee stock management to align with project timelines and prevent delays.

4. Budgeting and Cost Management: Collaborate with project management teams to prepare procurement budgets and track expenses against these budgets.

5. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all purchases comply with legal, safety, and company standards, maintaining high quality and sustainability in materials.

Required Skills and Expectations:

The ideal candidate must have strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of the civil and interior construction market. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to foster supplier relationships. A proactive approach to problem-solving, coupled with analytical skills for assessing market trends and pricing, is also required.
