duties & responsibilities
• responsible for the overall quality system in the hr department and operations.
• understanding and executing staffing requisition, requirements and issues from all departments.
• draft and update documents such as job descriptions, employee handbook, performance appraisal, forms, standard operating procedures (sop), policies and other hr-related documents.
• screening the candidates by resume shortlisting, phone interviews and personal interviews with coordination with the concerned departments & background verification of the shortlisted candidates.
• issuing letter of offer/intent/employment to the selected candidate.
• maintain employees’ leaves, attendance record and payroll. keeping track of employees’ attendance/absenteeism and reporting to the manager.
• they are also expected to explain the various policies, strategies and benefits to employees.
• review, update and maintain proper filings such as employees’ documents, and other operational work (both in soft form and files management)
• handling all the queries of the employees. be it related to salary, leaves, attendance, and transfer etc.
• conduct orientation program and briefing to the new employee.
• planning of company events or activities on occasions by management’s approval.
• organising training sessions or training for employees ensuring they are fully equipped to be able to perform their duties.
knowledge, skills and abilities
• any bachelor/master degree with at least 1 year of working experience in the hr field.
• computer literate particularly with microsoft word, microsoft excel & microsoft powerpoint.
• good writing, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• able to work under pressure and efficiently.
• ability to communicate effectively & professionally.
• ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• positive & proactive attitude towards work.
