As a Data Operator (sometimes called Data Entry Operator), you support the bank’s operations and back-office processes by entering and maintaining accurate data in various internal systems. This role helps ensure that customer information, transactions, and records are correct and up-to-date.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

✔️ Accurate Data Entry

Enter customer details, transaction information, and other banking data into the bank’s internal database/systems.

Update records as needed and ensure accuracy before submission.

✔️ Data Verification & Validation

Check data for completeness and correctness — correcting mistakes or flagging discrepancies.

Perform regular checks and audits to maintain data quality.

✔️ Record Keeping & Reporting

Organize and maintain files, reports, and digital records.

Generate simple reports or extracts when required by supervisors.

✔️ Support Back-Office & Branch Operations

Assist other bank staff by preparing documentation, coordinating data corrections, and supporting branch processes.

✔️ Maintain Data Security & Confidentiality

Handle sensitive customer and bank data carefully.

Follow internal policies on privacy, confidentiality, and compliance.
