Business Development Manager

Responsibilities and Duties:Ø Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing marketsØ Seek out the appropriate contact in an organizationØ Generate leads and cold call prospective customersØ Meeting/ Talking to the clients, understanding their needs and offer them a custom tailor-made media resolution.Ø Develop relationships with customers/clientsØ Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet theseØ Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the businessØ Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changesØ Draw up client contracts - depending on the size of the company, this task may be completed by someone else or agreements may not be as formalØ Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about themØ Ensure staff are on board throughout the organization, and understand the need for change and what is required of themØ Negotiate pricing with customersØ Creating actionable business strategiesØ Nurturing relationships with clientsØ Analysing market trendsØ Tracking business performanceØ Allocating and managing the company€™s resourcesØ Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriateØ Develop the businessQualifications and Skills:o Masters in Mass Communication ,or MBA in Marketing .o Five years proven track record in Media Fieldo Ability to work and deliver under tight deadlineo Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targetso Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clientso Written and verbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally,
