Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Accounts Manager for an established Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) in the automobile industry. The company caters to reputed automotive clients, including Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., Volvo Eicher Ltd., and Tata Motors.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy and statutory compliance, and managing a team of 5-8 accountants.

Key Responsibilities

Manage, supervise, and guide a team of 5-8 accountants.

Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.

Review financial statements, monthly reports, and Management Information System (MIS) reports.

Ensure timely GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory compliances.

Monitor cash flow, outstanding receivables, payables, and financial transactions.

Supervise vendor and customer account reconciliations.

Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities.

Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, customers, and internal departments.

Review the team's work to ensure accuracy, proper documentation, and adherence to deadlines.

Support budgeting, expense monitoring, and cost-control initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.

5-8 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.

Proven experience in team management, preferably supervising a team of accountants.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally or ERP systems.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with experience in automobile manufacturing, automotive components, or other manufacturing industries will be preferred.

Ability to independently manage accounting operations and supervise a team.

Strong attention to detail, financial accuracy, and adherence to reporting deadlines.

Salary and Employment Details

Salary: ₹40,000-₹50,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.

Location: Mohali, Punjab.
