Role Overview:
The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the complete accounting functions of the company. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and hands-on experience in statutory compliances, financial reporting, audits, and establishing systematic accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting & Financial Management
• Handle and supervise the entire accounting operations of the company.
• Prepare and review Profit & Loss Accounts, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
• Ensure proper recording of all financial transactions and maintain accurate books of accounts.
• Manage debtors and creditors ledgers, aging reports, follow-ups, and reconciliations.
• Determine and record provisions, accruals, and prepayments as per accounting standards.
• Ensure timely audit finalization and coordination with statutory auditors.
2. Statutory Compliances
• Handle all GST compliances including returns, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Manage TDS compliances, filing quarterly returns, and ensuring timely deduction & payment.
• Oversee PF & ESIC compliances including filings and statutory payments.
• Manage VAT–CST old compliances, assessments, and any pending statutory requirements.
3. Specialized Finance Functions
• Handle Import & Export documentation, accounting, and statutory compliances.
• Manage Royalty calculations, documentation, and related compliance requirements.
4. Systems & Process Improvements
• Implement and monitor systematic and efficient accounting systems and internal controls.
• Develop and maintain MIS Reports, financial analysis, and management dashboards.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency in all financial reports.
5. Leadership & Coordination
• Lead and guide the accounts team to ensure smooth functioning.
• Work closely with other departments such as HR, Operations, and Procurement for financial coordination.
• Provide direct financial insights and reports to the Directors for decision-making.
Skills & Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation laws, and statutory compliances.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Expertise in accounting software (Tally / ERP systems).
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
Qualification:
• B. Com / M. Com / MBA (Finance) / PG Diploma in Business management (Finance)
