1. Commercial and banking transactions To manage LC documents, D/P documents and advanced payment documents. To manage bank transactions such as TUFS subsidy claim, LC, etc. and insurance related matters. To manage documentation related to high seas purchase.2. Dealing with Government bodies To manage Central Excise related work. To manage DGFT transactions such as DEPB license, EPCG license, FMS, TED claims. To follow up with councils for day to day notification & enquiry of quotas (i.e.) S.R.T.E.P.C & TEXPOCIL and DGFT. To manage Service Tax. 3. Logistics Handling To work closely with suppliers and transport companies. To select appropriate modes of transportation. To liaison with transporters and clearing agents. To plan and optimize logistics, product transportation, cost and pricing of transportation. To optimize carriage inwards expenses. To supervise inland logistics and intervene for problem solving and decision making. To negotiate with shipping companies for obtaining special rates for security deposits. To negotiate freight rates. To conduct inspection of goods when they arrive at port.4. Custom clearances To plan, develop and administer strategies related to all aspects of Customs related issues, ensuring compliance with all regulations. To monitor changes in Customs laws and regulations and take appropriate actions in order to ensure compliance and avoid penalties. To develop and direct Customs release and entry procedures performed by Customs brokers to ensure compliance with Customs regulations. To plan, develop and administer Customs policies and procedures to handle classification, valuation, documentation, admissibility and duty savings programs. To maintain all Imports related documents. To ensure that accurate records are kept for import items and vendors. To assess customs duties and associated taxes to be paid on imported merchandise. To assure compliance with related laws and regulation

Skills required:- At least 5 years of pharmaceutical finished goods warehousing / inventory management,packaging and logistics experience in a pharmaceutical export company OR apharmaceutical global logistics company is mandatory.- Advanced level of proficiency in understanding of Pharmaceutical Cold Chain temperaturemaintenance, adequate pharma packaging, as per Pharma GDP norms. Prior experience /exposure of GDP / GMP audits will be preferred.- Responsible, punctual and organized individual with attention to detail required.- Problem solver in an uncertain circumstances and ability to behave and plan the operationsin a careful and risk mitigating manner.- Good written and verbal communication in English language.- Intermediate proficiency level required in MS Excel, MS Office, Internet usage and Emailwriting.- Willingness to review the processes, identify the gaps and inform the management aboutimprovement measures, wherever required, shall be highly appreciated.
